I wonder if anyone remembers me. Corporal Terry Young. I came aboard 3/1 late Nov., 1967. I was with fire direction control. I was the NCOIC. Commanding officer was Lt. Hamilton? Operation Badger Tooth, Badger Pass, Fortress Ridge, Tet.
One day, I was ordered to go back aboard the Valley Forge to sign some papers. Go to the LZ and catch a ride back...take only an hour or two.
I never came back to my unit. What did they tell you about my not returning? Did anyone tell you what happened at the LZ?
I want to come home.
