you're probably right. although talent is a very subjective thing, and i don't consider myself a "Mr Big Time," editor or better writer than others, thus in a position to be an authority or judge. that's what this idiot really doesn't get. i replied "no thanks," for purposes of brevity and becuase detailed rejections tend to fire people up even worse. bottom line is, cait is very busy and the hold is already rather jammed with current contributors, so we need to really be blown away by someone's work. then there is also the question of "fit," whether or not someone's work blends in well with an overall "theme." it's ok though, i had fun with this and have posted it on various message boards for the amusement of others. also check my site when you get a chance (www.the-hold.com/jminer.html) cait is going to add a section for me to chronicle idiot/rude replies such as this, starting with this one.

btw, not to be pushy, just wondering, are you still going to add my cassette to your bookstore? just a friendly reminder in case you forgot. if not, well then, fuck you, mister big time motherfucker! (LOL-kidding)
