:) Hello all. Just so delighted to have received a suprize email with the hyperlink to it that has truly opened up a whole new world to me, that of a fine website for LHS grads of STL from all three campuses. I belong to Classmates.com and have found classmates of mine from LHSC, and also, clear back to grade school thru college. It is just great. There are many LHS all-campus class lists there. What a wonderful place to tell them about this great website. It seems that very few know about Classmates.com, and about this LHS website. At Classmates.com they only charge a one-time $35 membership fee for an entire year to write classmates, post news releases, write your own personal profile, read those of your classmates, as a member. You can lisat educational, professional, then and now segments, whatever you want to put up there on your own personal website within classmates.com There are many services and perks to the membership. Check it out, and find your LHS buddies.
The LHS STL website begun by Kathy is the best I have ever seen, and I am overjoyed that she has begun this worthy endeavor. Kathy's website for STL LHS alumni is a private, exclusive and all-inclusive Christian website, which certainly has its distinct advantages over another type, which has non-Christian schools who also have their own websites. Such a marked difference in our Christian alumni groups and their writings. The STL LHS campus alumni are there by the hundreds. Some have written their profiles education, profession, hobbies, travels, churchlife, family, as I have said, you can put as much or as little there as you like, it's your choice. It's an opportunity to find the LHS alumni members who do not know about the LHS website, and bring them over here. They would be overjoyed to discover this wonderful website. Good luck, everybody. There are many segments to Classmates.com, and if you desire to find and contact fellow classmates even back to your kindergarten days, that is a good source and opportunity to safely do so. Classmates.com does not, of themselves, ever give out any names or personal email addresses. Everything at Classmates.com is filtered and monitored thru the auspices of the website administrative register board to guard the privacy of the members and to monitor the chat and message boards from secular groups and schools, as well. Well, thank you for your time and interest and the opportunity to answer your nice message. Post little ad boxes for this LHS website thruout the Herald, in the St. Louis Lutheran, in your church bulletins, at Classmates.com, in the Lutheran Association publications, on KFUO radio station, even. Non-profit, LHS Alumni website announcement would be wonderful, and the LHS Assoc would fund it. Over nine million dollars has been raised for our Lutheran High education plant over the years since it began. If any of you would be interested in participating in a wonderful celebration in 2002, same year for the celebrations of the World's Fair Centennial in St. Louis, please let the LHS Association Development department, Mr. Sommers, know about your interest in coming out to attend such a fine and memorable event in the planning stages to give thanks for all the blessings God has showered to the LHS's all over the country, and will be attended by thousands of alumini and friends of the Lutheran High Schools and their future development, everywhere in the land. Looking forward to using and enjoying this LHS website, and many thanks to Kathy for such a wonderful way to share our faith and memories of all our years at Lutheran High Schools in St. Louis. Thanks. Shirley :)
