Once again, I log on to find another installment. And the Bios are up as well. Happy day :)

I have done my fair share of reading in my life, and so far, your story is giving me the same "vibe" as Orson Scott Cards "Enders Game" series. Not so much from the details, as from the writing style. I am an electrical engineer (design and support custom electronics for oilfield development) by trade, so for me details are everything. It may also be the type of music I am listening to while reading your strip. I find that music can either enhance or distract from a good reading session, and I tend to associate many tunes with stories I have read while listening to them, and visa versa.

Which brings me to my question of the week...

What type of music, if any, do you listen to while you work? Does it differ from the music you would prefer for relaxing?

Re:>Hi! Sorry it's taken so long to respond.
Well, unlike some people, I tend to only check my collection of select web comics etc. once a week, so for what ever reason, we seem to be on the same time table :)

For the record, Calgary is "only" about as far north as the northern tip of Maine. So my winter doesn't get much colder than yours. Also, there is a wonderful natural phenomena that occurs here call a "Chinook" which allows us to have nice sunny warm days in the middle of January or February.

Just didn't want you to be a "typical" American, a well read person should be aware of the geography of the world, and not just there own country ^_-

Oh, and I ALWAYS drive, I am never going to get stuck in the backseat of a car for a long drive again (I am not exactly a bean pole). I may be an educated farm boy, but I was still born and raised by the school of hard nocks, and I look like it :)

P.S. I think I am really going to enjoy Hiram Gregarius, keep that shaggy character going :)
