I can tell you right now the entire story is nowhere near planned out. And even the events that are strung out along the course of the story are wont to change -- there was a whole scene I'd constructed early on between Dave and Soshi that was supposed to happen much later in the story. Suddenly Dave turned out to be a little different than I'd originally thought of him, and the scene became obsolete.

The Major Arcana are a path to an arc or throughline, really. They affect how the story runs, and what Soshi -- being the main character -- has to go through. There are some things I know already, some things I don't, and some things that I think I know now but are going to fall by the wayside as these people make their own decisions.

Stories are organic things, and sometimes characters will walk right up to you and tell you you're selling them short, misquoting them, overhyping them, flattering them beyond usefulness, so on and so on.

Writing is the only profession where you hear voices in your head and it's all part of a day's work. Mr. Sane. ;)

>inspiration? Like 21 (that's the right number, right?)
>major events? ;)
