Date Posted: 00:46:00 07/12/04 Mon Ive be made aware of this site recently and was appalled by comments which i read last week re:Berk v uni game. As coach the players are instructed to be aggressive and play a physical game which we do well.Many coaches have complimented us on our rugged style which intimidates the opposition which it is supposed to do. All these local juniors are doing a great job 4 the club and no one has been sent off all year.As 4 the refs we have no problem and have been on the right side of the penalty count on all but 2 occassions.I feel we could be higher on the ladder after losing a few games after leading well but poor decision making on our part has cost us not refs.We dont whinge when we get beat and get on with next week trying to rectify our problems.These guys are great mates and love playing together and are easily the closest knit bunch ive coached. I respect the way they play and if we intimidate other teams so be it this is footie not marbles.By the way that "fatso" scored 26 points this week!!PS. see all you loyal supporters at Berkeley on sat against the devils keep up the good work the boys appreciate it.
