Rule #1: (The Golden Rule) Putting faith in other people, and finding balance in oneself.
Rule #2: People have the freedom to leave this society.

Immigration Process & Population Control:
*In order to enter the island(Utopia), the individuals will need to go through a series of tests. (We are proposing a maze around Utopia, with four different entrances (north,south, west east). There will be tests set up on different areas of the maze.) They will be tested on virtues such as humanity, generosity, love, kindness, self-control, faith, temperance, and zeal. The test will show how they react to earthly goods, their mental state, and human relationship. Once they pass the tests, they will be lead into Utopia. If they fail, they will never come in contact with the natives of the island; rather, they will be lead off the island. (Method of exporting people is up to the technology group!)
*Not only newcomers will be tested, but also everyone in the Utopian society gets to be tested every tidal cycle (18.6 yr.). This is a method of population control, as well as a friendly reminder of people�s basic virtues.
*These tests are designed by a committee (we�re thinking about 7 persons, but the number can be change according to the time system, but it should be an odd number). Committees are selected by a random number system. Each person in Utopia will be assigned a number when they reach a tidal cycle (18.6 years). The committee only holds power for 28 days, a lunar cycle. Since it is the people in the Utopia who design these tests, the extremity of the tests will be directly related to the mental state of Utopian people. This will also encourage the general public to participate in decision making for the good of the Utopia society.

Marriage
*Freedom of choice.
*No marriage as we know it, it is more like commitment and understanding between people
*We are proposing that any kind of marriage/commitment is fine.

Government System
*When a problem/situation comes about, people will form groups base on their believes and interests. Within one interest group, people select or vote for a spokesperson to represent them.
*Within many different spokespersons, they have to resolve the situation by discussing, voting, or other communication processes.

Questions for:

[Technology]
*What is the protective system around Utopia? Since there are three bodies of water enclosing Utopia, can there be magnetic fields, which will disable all sailing equipment and aircrafts from discovering the Utopia?
*What kind of technologies will be available for fighting diseases? How do we secure the natives from incoming people? (We don�t want any cloning because we want to preserve the personality of the individuals. There needs to be a balance of positive and negative human traits.)

[Education]
*What is the method of education? If teens need to go see the outside world, how will they be educated, and by who? (We suggested that kids will be sent away at the age of .5 tidal cycle to experience the outside world. This is because we believe that in order to understand and enjoy Utopia, one have to go thought dytopia first. Kids will be brought back to the Utopia at 1 tidal cycle and go thought these tests as any new incomers. They may not be able to come back or they may choose to live in the outside world.) And how does education continues after they come back to Utopia?.) And does the education continues after they come back to Utopia?
