I am begining to feel the competitive aspect of sports should be down played, it seems they should be played more for the excercise of the body/mind (whether mental or physical, or both would probably be best), for the purpose of positive human interaction, as a learning experience (sports could play a big part in the education of children in ideas such as the golden rule and faith in others, cooperation, etc... some thing sport, gov't, and education groups might consider) and as a celebratory event.

maybe the sport is somehow related to the test of virtue? What does everyone think?

Joey
