I was assuming some prior knowledge of opponents strength -- 8pts in a 1st level fight is going to equate to ribs cracking. I would have no problem with a player embellishing if I trusted thier good sense. At the same time, the description doesn't matter when it's only there for drama -- 8pts might crack Elah's ribs and Elah might laugh at cracked ribs! It doesn't matter cuz there isn't a penalty to having cracked ribs . . .
