When have I said that I don't like mindflayers? I have ran into a few, but I won't judge the entire race on the few bad seeds I have ran into? Who is Dorolan the pirate? Is he someone in the 8th age that I should have heard of?

Open minded means receptive to arguments or ideas.

>Does that mean I
>have to accept everything and have no likes or
>dislikes?

So, no, it does not mean that. It does mean you should at least listen to others people's ideas, plans and opinions before deciding you like or dislike something.
