The +160 would ward all spells from 0 to 9th level.

If you look at the bottom of page 101, (under "Ward: Another Use") the text there tells how to use the spell to ward only one spell. Since Mordenkainen's Disjunction is a 9th level spell, that raises the DC to +16 because it is 8 levels above 1st (+2 DC per level above 1st).

I am not sure why they put those rules in a side-bar instead of in the main text, but they did. You will find many necessary rules are in the side bars of that book (which suffers from poor editing throughout).

So, for future reference, always look around for side-bars that tells you how to REALLY use the spell (honestly, I use the side-bar information more than I use the actual text! That stuff should be in the body text of the seeds).
