Strange, with a screen-name like "EnderTheElder" I would have never suspected a closet OSC fan, hmmm. Who woulda thunk it :)

I have really loved most of his work but thought his last few novels were kind of flat. I was really jazzed about the latest Alvin Maker book, but after reading it I concluded that it was the worst in the series. And I haven't picked up the most recent of the Shadow books, because, well, reading them is like watching Michael J. Fox sneak around in the background of Back to the Future 2, watching himself perform actions from the last movie. Fun at first, old on repeated viewings.

I started reading OSC's Web site, quickly realized that if I kept it up I would never be able to look at his work the same way again and gave it up. I think I would prefer meeting his characters to meeting him.
