Subject: Belknap and Ossipee Range Trail Maps

Detailed trail maps of the Belknap Range can be acquired at the public library in Gilford, NH - I believe that the cost is $3.00.

Following is a listing of the hours of the Gilford Public Library:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 10:00 a.m .- 6:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday - 10:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m
Saturday - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Closed Sundays

The Belknap Range maps are still available at the Belknap Mt fire tower, but this may be the last year for that service - the present tower watchman is retiring this year, and he provided that service as a favor to hikers of the range.

Re Ossipee Range maps - a new map of the Castle in the Clouds trail system (and some of the trails entering that property from off-property trailheads) is now available at the Castle in the Clouds gift shop, at the end of the Ossipee Park Road (NOT Ossipee Mountain Road) in
Moultonboro. The cost is $2.50. The LRCT, owners of the Castle property, have given a book store in the area the right to sell it (that'll be more than $2.50), but I can't remember right now what the bookstore's name is.
