It's messages like yours that confirm that I have made the right decision to start writing in the first place, and continue writing as the years (almost 3 now) pass.

Gunter, keep working on those emotions. You can make the choice to put the past behind you and live for the present and future.

Maarten, friendship like what I describe between B&P is very rare. Don't look for it: It will find you. In the mean time, cherish the people in your life and enjoy today to it's fullest. As a friend of mine likes to say, we only go around once. Try everything you can.
