words upon lines
upon monuments of time....
stretching the cables of life
watching crossed wires
fiber~optics of our minds...
until you bottle up the truths
and what is rightfully mine

I see me in you
and I see you in all I say
teasing, pleasing, treason
and the reason that you are here
wonder beckons to me
to justify my fear...
to wash away those tears,
to make everything clear, my dear

I am tired of the swirl
that sucks me in everytime
grabs me by the throat
and rearranges half my mind
Feels like I´m dancing without moving
talking without saying anything ~
shouting without raising my voice
defying laws of gravity
I'm always drawn to you
as if I have no choice

and so I called to you and you brought me Gold
and you left me speechless ~
and so I came to you and you taught me wisdom
and you numbed me senseless ~
and so you gave me fever when I was chilled like wine
and I love you regardless ~

and we are left with the shreds of this tattered life
lying here beside you
defenseless ~~
