Lost at sea ~~


a gentle breeze flows off the atlantic
as my wind torn face gazes into the salty mist
with the gentle rhythm of my heart pounding in my veins
listening to the music of the gentle waves

i breathe a deep breath ~ inhaling memories of you
staring through the mist ~ not knowing what to do
if i could ever return into your arms
i would live forever ~ shunning harm

listening to the echoes of you blowing through my mind
here I am again and it’s our providence I find ~

In the fire of the setting sun I can feel your soft breath brush across my ear
i gaze upon your soft face ~ oh you extinguish every fear
words of passion, hope and love keep me hanging on and on
take me to the depths of your soul ~ deeper ~ and beyond ~

like the stars on an ocean night
their fire is the guiding light
for the love that I have found
for the love that is our bound

in you i have found treasures of life
through heartache and strife

I hunger for your gentle embrace
with you i have found my tranquil space ~
your images are covered with wisps of lace

as they trail across the setting sun
though we seem separate ~ we know we are one

Through the cold journeys into the cold deep blue waters
Your love is my hold on what matters

you carry me ~ lift me up ~ and hold me there
your thoughts ~ they sustain me ~ i know you care

bringing me home through the storms at sea
hold me ~ don’t let go ~ i don't want to be set free
I find your face in the spanning stars in the night
and i see your eyes speaking words of love that's so right

Your gentle smile lingers as it holds me tight
i smile back at you ~ join me in this moonlight ~
I reach out into the fire with all of my might

To hold you spinning in my arms through the soft music that surrounds us
reach out to me ~ feel my touch ~ be with you i must
every thing that used~to~be....is merely 'what was'

The passionate rocking of the ocean below us as we dance into the storm
i could fall into the beautiful cold blue right now ~ i'd still be warm ~

our love burning between the bitter hand of the waves
as I stare into your loving ways
The tragedy of lovers lost in the storm
the magic released into the heavens

sensations never felt before
feelings closed behind closed doors
back to where we were once more?
your love ~ it’s what i’m here for ~

your gentle touch and soft voice is what I adore
write your words to me and read them once more
On this tattered page in the middle of the storm

can we withstand this passion without dying?
holding imaginable hands without crying

combine both our thoughts and we're in a new dimension
turbulence of storms of life diminishing all tension ~
