Night Eyes



I walked into the light
Looking for a angel
That I knew that I would never find

Surrounded by the night that
Protects my coalesced heart
It has become an unbroken bind

For I have been betrayed by
The most devious kind

I have walked the streets
Of countless places

Been betrayed by the most
Alluring of faces

This smoke filled room that
Has become my torment
I have entered again amongst
All the places

Seeking enlightenment
To save my drowning soul

For the midnight hours
Are all I know
It has begun to take its toll

The music captures me
Kicking my mind
Into a higher grind
Stopping me from thinking

My spirit is strong
Rearing its head
My six sense seeking

A soul that understands
My hearts desires

A presence shines
Out from among
These countless liars











With a alluring smile
I become lost in denial
Standing across from me
And unknown essence

Her auburn eyes
Entices my wondering mind
My blood burns
As she senses my presence

We begin to dance
And the wastelands
Of or surroundings
Fade away into nothing

She moves around me
Like a lion with
All of her cunning

Her skin glows with
An unknown Brilliance

Capturing my senses
With the sweet nectar
That radiates around her
As the silence

Of two tortured souls
Collide in the moonlight

Flowing together
Both seeking the light

That the other holds
Unknowing to our conscience

The soft silk curls
Of her blond hair
Hides her night eyes

That has burned a hole
Into my being
Smoldering like a tempered flame

I stare into the golden glow
Of those night eyes
And begin to wonder
If she feels the same
