Subject: Sad Eyes

Sad eyes

With the look of despair
She cries there

Not looking around her
Not caring about surrounds her

The loud sounds of dogs barking
The sound of human minds buzzing

The world does not stop
Her head begins to drop

Her heart is crushed, and her soul pounds

Tears fall, fall, fall to the ground

She looks up, an essence beckons without a sound

She sees a man standing by
He reaches down and brushes away the tears
And asks why she has to cry
He whispers there is nothing to fear

At that moment their hands interlock as if everything has disappeared
Her vision has cleared

As they look into each others souls
They are both covered in tears

For they understand each others fears
And why each heart cries

They both have the same sad eyes
