Slowly!



Of all things “snow!” so crisp
it lays across my tongue melting
then gone,
crystallised flakes
of uniqueness fleetingly frozen.

Imaginary smile, that I have
albeit, hidden behind one other,
mirrored
without the glass
reflected on life, between pain.

Shattered illusions to stifle,
then begins, a playground noise
we all fall,
down is often out
last to the post discarded easily.

Upwards climb, what’s new
another platform, squeaky wheels
rusty rails,
longer trips taken,
love accepted by its eagerness.

Raw! keen, this cutting wind,
might then arrive with more airs
than hope
would ever chase,
or your capture! could destroy.

Will this vision grow complete?
or layer out my only waking days
with views
I never get to touch?
if they wont disrupt my dreams.
