Teetering on the brink of society

As the elite teeter on the edge of wine glasses
Contemplating the deceit of the masses

The elegance of human nature
Machining their way into the future

Lingering in the gears of tokens
Altering the words that are spoken

As they gather their delusions
Planting them with desirable fashions

As they grow in the common mind
Then each child finds

The hunger for wealth and desires
As they throw their hearts into the fire

Nations of followers are born
Grandfathers roll over as they scorn

Men become pegs in the wheel
Selling their souls for a deal
