A Divine Moment Of Browning



Once upon our time,
I was Elizabeth
to your Robert.
Or so I thought.

Almost a bizarre moment,
soul to soul compliments.
Despite many moats,
comes you with a boat.

Which is such a dangerous thing,
a spark that gives heart pings.
Then comes fear,
that cuts through the years.

Tosses that remnant of love
on my floorboards of mope.
To lay in it's disheveled mix
not even the colours rainbow can fix.

Perhaps the power of the Light
with its ALL & Might
will take that scrap,
to sew in a quilt?

A blanket that stretches
around the world.
Made of fabrics of love
heart-broken or not,
material pieces brought by the Dove.
