Walking along this beach, alone -

Kicking.....
Kicking sand with my toes;
Kicking so hard 'til my toes hurt;
Kicking 'til the sand spreads out like dust.

Flying.....
White sand flying in the wind.

Trying.....
trying so hard to catch what's left of you;
but you're flying so fast,
you're thinning out so fast.

So here I am, all alone once more -
I can still hear the sea-gulls singing
to the rhythm of the waves
and the windblown trees.

I lie here on the sand, freely -

Thinking.....
thinking about you;
with both my hands under my head.
Suddenly, I catch a glimpse of yet

Another you!
Yes! There you are!

Waiting.....
just for me!
I know it's you from the crowd;
for you are shining extra bright tonight.

Just for me.....
My Lonely Star!
