That's a good question Stephen. I would say that if I have to do a survey, it is going to split up in halfs.

If the person has a good childhood, then he/she would not want to change a thing.

If a person has a bad childhood, then of course he/she would like to change it.

But if you're talking about ways to do things, yes, I do believe that we all think that we could have done better, if given a second chance.

The would be my answer to your poem.
