I thought I knew but I was wrong
Optimism ~ hope is gone
Disappeared from my blank screen
I don’t wonder where you’ve been

I used to care ~ I thought I knew
The unexplained of me and you
Obscurity with mystic blue
Now I know what I must do ~

Seal myself ~ I’m feeling-proof
Don’t come in ~ my heart’s removed
I’ve got sins that I must prove
You’re too close so do not move…

You will not like what you see
Oh so many sides to me ~
Look away and please don’t listen
Won’t you wonder what you’re missing?

Slash my wrists and slit my veins
When I’m done I’ll start again
Throbbing ~ twinging ~ I love pain
Let me drown in my remains

Thought I knew me ~ I guess not
Body transforms cold from hot
Death sought me out ~ now I’m caught
Poison flesh ~ I live to rot

What a horrid, ghastly vision
Locked in this bleeding position
Satan’s black cloud blocks me from view
You can’t stomach this now can you?

Don’t worry, it’s only me now
I can’t hurt you ~ I don’t know how
Leave my carcass for the wolves
Watch them rip and tear and pull

Let them eat till I’m no more
Drink my blood straight from the core
Lick your lips ~ embrace my gore
Crush my bones ~ let my blood pour

Ah…what a sense of relief
Outer pain and inner peace
Oh the things you made me do
Who were you? I thought I knew…
