In this maelstrom I spin around
Whirling, twirling, swirling unbound

Unwinding, unfolding, uncoiled
Disentangled from this toiling

Caught in this vortex I revolve
Encircling this surge evolving

The beating throb, this ebb and flow
I fluctuate between cyclones

Tornadoes of need ensnaring
Unraveling, swaying, I sing

To your pulsating memory
Flickering neon centuries

The undulation of our souls
In this whirlpool sea still untold

I am dizzied, spiraling
Downward vertigo submerging

Will you lift me from your water deep
Or will I drown where I sleep?
