Is this Love?

(Scene One:)

A young couple retire to the end of a deep smokey bar,
they have just evacuated from a steaming dancefloor that pumps with rythm & lust,
there they chat, flirt and canoodle under a bacardi aroma and beer stained sticky carpet,
cocktailed together with fake perfumery that could kill a Mexican City dust,
a one night stand thickens,
true romance beckons,
friends will submerge and reckon,

(Scene Two:)

She is his Princess,
the hidden mistress that satisfies on a soft pink matress,
the maid that will serve his tea,

He, the chancer,
old time romancer,
smooth criminal dancer,
the liar, is the thief with the key,

He shall bring all that shines,
she can exchange her existance for some wayward happy good times,
the flowers,
the knight in shining armour that has just past her tower,
they wed after 4 months
divorce after 6
and consequently their love will die like a seedless flower,
and I ask you...
