I awake each morning, to deal with the day
Yet nothing seems right, so what do I say
I dream of one day, of some chance of fame
Instead I am dying , of this silent pain

Each New Year’s Eve, things never change
I never go out, to many I’m strange
Yet I look in the mirror, don’t like what I see
My life will need changes, to set myself free

This silent pain, that’s wearing me down
Eating me away, like a new cancer found
I want inspiration, so much I believe
All talk and no action, I am but deceived

I heard an old saying which did have true grit
“If your ship hasn’t come, then swim out to it”
It’s time I took action, it’s not fun and games
To rid me forever, of this silent pain.
