Few Words


Which part shall I leave?
as the sun sets on the second day.
Will you give me those words
that depart, to appear silent,
like mine can be?
Some broken glass might stand
for where the vision went.
But then, I opened my mind,
while the world poured in,
inside my chosen view.
We all get hurt sometime
more or less, with or without……
And then this word “love”,
speaks all that it says,
and sometimes far more.
As you eagerly warm,
on the tip of my tongue.
