Hey Fire,
It's good to see ya back! Wow, so like, where were you the last couple of days?? Sorry this is so late in coming, I'm kinda working around the clock here...this building's getting sewn up, and I'm in a mad scramble to put the finishing touches on.
First,,thank you so much for the compliments...and no, I don't think your writing is too simplistic. It's all symbolism over here. Using words to creatively describe situations...the same as you. I just like to play with symbols, and meanings a bit. That first stanza was an intro, describing the sunrise. Really, this whole piece was a pleading of sorts, for the sun to hold off a little while...let me enjoy the night. If you have you're computer set up like I do, with the monitor and speakers set at a point in front, and keyboard closer, it forms a triangle in a way. Going deeper, we all attempt to portray ourselves through two dimensional graphics..a difficult task at best...thus the morphing...it seems with every post and every reply we show something a little different, you know?? Anyway, you wanted a walk-through my mind, and I'm trying... "Creamy coming" is the milky dawn, symbols, and the lay refers to all those things made known by light.
