"Oh, hello, Jesar." -- Brush Fire, 19:21:45 02/15/03 Sat
She offered her mate the caress required to confirm their mateship to the public, an absent smile and light touch of the muzzle. It was with apparent relief that she allowed Apollo to dominate her side of the conversation.

Nuzzle -- Jesar, 20:12:39 02/16/03 Sun
He nuzzles his charcoal mate lightly, also smiling slightly. "Hello, Apollo," He nickers to his son, slightly unfolding his wings and nuzzling the steel grey colt. "Done anything intersting lately?"

"Flew, a little," he replied modestly, grinning despite himself. -- Apollo, 12:33:07 02/17/03 Mon

"So I see, " He replies. -- Jesar and Medusa, 13:39:12 02/17/03 Mon
The stark black iridescent filly, in contrast to her brother, was not tall. In fact, she barely seemed to have grown at all. She was, however, an excellent flier. Flapping her wings about in a convincing manner, she sticks her tongue out at her brother. Bright green eyes at full attention to her mother she rears up onto her hind legs.
He chuckles at his daughter, nudging her a little bit too roughly. With an impatient squeak she prances to her mother. "Medusa doesn't chatter," he said with a laugh, flashing a sheepish smile.

The showy filly looked so much like Brushy that the mare laughed aloud. -- Brush Fire, 16:14:56 02/17/03 Mon
"If mother could only see you..." she mused, eyes sparkling at the thought. Oh, Mother... her tired mind echoed, I need you so. Immediately, the stars in her vibrant expression died, and the charcoal beauty was left with only a blank shadow of a smile.

He watches his mate, a little preturbed at her mood swing. -- Jesar and Medusa, 19:20:14 02/17/03 Mon
She glares at Apollo, promptly ignoring him and skittering beneath her mother, ignoring the warning.
"Oh Medusa come on, leave your mother alone. She's quite ferocious when she's angry," He cautioned, leaping into the air. Flapping his great wings twice, he cleared Brushy and cut off Medusa. "Come on now, Medusa," He nodded to Apollo to follow. They could go play off in the trees or something.

Brushy switched her tail impatiently. -- Brush Fire, 19:36:54 02/18/03 Tue
With difficulty, she managed to use her muzzle as a catapult of sorts and remove Medusa from such close proximity. Glaring heatedly at her daughter, the flattened ears remained a visual sign of warning, even if, as yet, Brush Fire managed to restrain further sharp words.

…|Irresistable Attraction|… -- Charisma, 07:28:44 02/20/03 Thu
…|the milky white dove hid behind her mother in a shy manner, peeking out whenever the spontaneous urge came to watch the other strangers. how absurd that some had wings...were they just like her? the filly steals a quick glance down at her grotesque leg and quickly noses it back under her dam's tail, to hide such an ugly sight from view. shaking her dainty little dial, the filla pranced under her mother's belly and had an internal battle. would her showy side gleam through, or her shy side? optics dart from creature to creature, yet the maiden had not mastered the art of language yet and would be left unable to introduce herself|…

No -- Medusa and Jesar, 09:26:01 03/01/03 Sat
Giving her mother an impudent stare, she too stomps a hoof. ~No!~ She squeals, launching a small attack on her mother from the side, crashing splay-legged onto her back then falling to a small heap on the other side.
"Yes, Medusa, go play with your brother," He says absently, waiting for Brushy to explode.

And explode she would. -- Brush Fire and Apollo, 14:08:25 03/01/03 Sat
Whirling to face her impudent daughter, the image of a harassed mother, Brushy was a ferocious sight indeed. Ears laced, hind leg cocked threateningly. She towered over the ground-bound child, and without a moments contemplation, her muzzle snaked foward and pallid jaws nipped harshly at Medusa's haunches. "Go. Play," she growled once more, eyes livid.

How fun. -- Jesar, 19:36:43 03/02/03 Sun
She smiles devillishly, her sharp green eyes narrowing at her mother. Rising to her feet in a very unhurried fashion, she glares in return, imitating her mother's stance. ~No.~
He had no idea Medusa could ever be so rude. "Do what your mother says," He says threateningly. When she insists on holding her ground, he lowers his head with a dangerous snort. "Go!" he growls, stomping a front hoof.
Tears filling her angry eyes, she whirls on her hind legs and gallops as fast as she can, an ebon streak against the barren ground, her wings flapping behind her uselessly.

Seething, she turned away from the filly. -- Brush Fire, 16:15:00 03/03/03 Mon
"I. Cannot. Deal. With. This. Anymore." She fumed, copper eyes boiling. With a shudder, the damn broke and she began rambling without sign of stopping, "Honestly Jesar, I can't do this. I was never ment to be a mother, and everything is going wrong. I wasn't raised to be mean. I never wanted to be the kind of mare that hated her foals, but I can't say that I love either Apollo or Medusa. Not even a little bit." Drawing herself up to full height, she raised her half-crazed eyes to meet those of her mate. Or was he her mate? It seemed like ages since they had been close. No matter, there was a point that needed to be made, "I won't leave Devil's Mountain. But I can't put up with those two anymore."

He sighs. -- Jesar, 17:17:19 03/06/03 Thu
"We could...er...." He racked his brain. Their relationship of sorts was teetering dangerously, and he wanted desperately to save it. "My mother could raise them?" He says randomly. "She was a good mother," I suppose, he thinks inwardly. He didn't exactly turn out to be the best.
