with apparant conceit the messenger stallionlifted his mug to a higher level, his ebony pools lockedonto the form of the other as his words hit the air, one after another. confidence boosted his clipped tones and made the speech silky smooth in the telling. his voice was a clear baritone as he settled into the oratory challenge, and expressive in it's monotone.
a mutiny has arisen against our monarchy. I have come to decipher where you, and the equines of the mountain, rest in your loyalties. do you believe, as i do, that malussinn has too long held the throne, and that his unseemly behaviour belittle us all as a people. that such a Queen as cirrus should not hold the privelege of ruling. malussinn and cirrus are a horrid representation of what we are. the king himself scorns our hatred, this which fuels our lives. and the queen? she rules by association, an does not even reside within the lands of the evils. a unicorn. not even a horse. why not put one of our own on the throne? i come her today to hear your take on these tidings. i have come here to request of you to take a stand for your herd. pick a side.
he left off with that, ivory squaresclicking together again, dipping his mug once more toward the frozen earth, harrowing gaze locked indefinitely within those of the mare. he held an aura of complete passivity, the silence radiated from him like rays from the sun. his fire was quelled as he awaited a response.

Faint shock, but hardly surprise. -- Deepest Desire, 19:29:34 01/21/03 Tue
Of course. What other stallion would have dared to lead this mutiny against Malussinn? This lead...he wanted the power, and he wanted the glory. Ambitious, certainly but would it be wise to follow this stallion. No, not follow. To step with him in his path of treason. Did the King himself know of these proceedings? She was curious, but didn't show it.
"Surely you realise these 'options' should not be decided purely by spur of the moment?"
Did he really expect her to make her decision so soon? She had followed Ziraga to an extent, but Malussinn...she remembered him from when she was a mere filly, foolish and thinking she were better than him. She would have to think about this for longer.

[are you ready for this?] -- Frozen Dreams, 18:13:26 01/22/03 Wed
conceding her point with the faint nod of his pallid crania, but the look set into his occulis does not waver at all with her words. he had considered this, but time pressed heavily upon their shoulders. he spoke again, not the slightest change in pitch differentiated this speech from the last.
yes, i realise that the alotment of time is somewhat discomforting. but i'm afraid there is nothing to be done for it. things pass more quickly than we expected and the time for action is upon us. we ask that you express your loyalties for us. but if you fail to so comply; it will not be disastrous for our cause. we will deem you neutral for now, but a time like this will come again, when we require such knowledge of you.
tossing his mane show-offishly he concluded, emphasising his pronunciation with a sharp tap of his onyx dagger into the frosted earth. as the sun slithered its way toward the horizon it cast contrasting rays upon his receptive pelt, but the trim of darkness that dampened his energies, and put a somber touch on all actions he performed failed to reflect the brilliant array of pinks and purples and oranges that now haunted the sky and the remaining snowy clouds. ebnoy pools were still fixed directly within those of the lead mare. his regality showed naturally in his stance, and confidence carried him.

A brief but distinct movement. -- Deepest Desire, 19:14:27 01/26/03 Sun
"This is a decision I cannot make alone. My herd and I will have to discuss these matters. I ask you wait."
Her voice keep constant, knowing that even the smallest slivers of time could aid in her decision. This was not a matter that she could choose for all the herd, the responsibility playing heavily and dancing across her heart. Who would she follow in the end? Amber burning light sierra, she held the other's gaze, not beng one to back, even at the most subtle of challenges. Her instinct fighting against will and a slight sardonic glimmer touched her aura.
[sry about the lateness. i had computer problems]

-[the drums are rolling -- Frozen Dreams, 05:52:23 01/27/03 Mon
calculating the timeline in his grey matter he was displeased to note such a delay in plans, but heck what could he do about it? and so settling himself comfortably with a shift of his bulk he tipped his pate to regard the lead mare, and was both amused and irritated by her democratic approach. as his ebony pools fixed upon her in a scrutinizing gaze he nodded, indicating without words that she should proceed, that he would wait. but within his loose poise was a tenseness of his muscle that indicated he would be impatiently waiting.
as the wind lifted his stygian locks he glanced about himself once, rather disdainfully before returning his eyes to the mare, he did not take easily to being hindered and she had just put a rather large kink in his and aerial's plan. but he would wait, as it was better to be thorough than to be quick.
he just hoped it wouldn't be too long now.
mrrs. that's ok. i just get impatient when i'm bored. -grin-

Scary. -- Deepest Desire, 00:37:07 01/28/03 Tue
With or without the bite of impatient that filtered its way through, she knew that time was not not on her side, nor his and so slow haste she must make. Having supposedly granted his permission for her to consult the rest of the herd, she dips her head slightly, silver'd locks briefly brushing across her eyes and moves away, pivoting slowly and heading to an open enclosure to catch the needed attention.
