Subject: Travis Smith vs Shane Jackson(c)-CWO World Title match(CWO Revolution 7-28-02)

The lights go out as the ring bell rings 3 times to signal the main event. Then we see a red hue as the Hell in a Cell is lowered and secured. Then �Live Again� by Sevendust hits and the lights go out once again and come back into a red and white hue as from the curtain emerges Travis Smith to a rousing chorus of boos from the crowd. Smith is carrying a Singapore cane and is slowly making his way to the ring and is just staring at the cell. Smith enters the cell and slides into the ring and is still looking at the cell. Suddenly 4 blasts of green pyro erupt from the top of the arena and just missing the cell hit the top of the O-Tron causing the entire arena to turn green as �Name of the Game� by Crystal Method is playing and the fans our on their feet as from amidst the green smoke comes the CWO World Champion Shane Jackson. Jackson is also carrying a weapon in the form of a steel chair. The fans are absolutely deafening as Jackson and Smith haven�t stopped staring at each other and Smith is now perched on the corner turnbuckle as Shane Jackson slides the steel chair into the ring and then the CWO World title. Finally as Shane steps through the ropes the cell door is locked and the lights come back to normal. CWO Head referee Miles Beard raises the World title as both Shane Jackson and Travis Smith look at it. The ref calls for the bell and the Hell in a Cell match is on. Smith and Jackson are both a bit tentative as neither wants to make a mistake. They lock up with Shane cinching in a headlock but it�s countered by Smith who goes for a back suplex but that�s countered by Jackson who flips over the top and lands on his feet but when he tries to roll Smith up he�s nailed with a back elbow. Smith now starts to stomp Jackson as Shane tries to get to the ropes. Travis grabs Shane and goes for a vertical suplex but Shane once again counters and takes Smith down with a leg trip. Shane floats over on Smith and messes up his hair a bit and then as both stand up Shane slaps Smith and then leans into the corner. Smith looks mad but just rubs his cheek and smiles and then calls for Shane to bring it. They lock up again with Shane going into a waistlock but Smith reverses but Shane reverses it again and then rolls Smith up. Smith is able to quickly get out of the pin before even a 1. The crowd is now settling down now as the two men lock up again and Smith hits a knee to the gut of Shane and then a beautiful gut wrench suplex. Now it�s Smith�s turn to taunt and muffle Shane as he stomps in the back of the head and then retreats to the corner. Shane stands up and laughs it off and then charges in but misses Smith who tries to slam Jackson down but Shane blocks it and DDT�s Smith to the mat. Shane now mounts Smith and starts to land the right hands to his forehead. Shane now has Smith and whips him into the corner and charges in with a clothesline that literally shakes the ring. Smith hits the mat face first ala Ric Flair and Shane goes and grabs the steel chair. As Smith stands up he sees Jackson swing the chair and so he ducks and the chair ricochets off the top rope and connects with Jackson�s face. Smith sees Jackson fall and grabs the chair and waits for Jackson to stand and then connects with a hard shot to the back of Jackson. And then another hard shot and another. Finally Smith drops the chair and picks Shane up and hits a backbreaker and then holds Jackson on his knee for a bit to only increase the pressure. Shane is in pain and rolls out of the ring but is followed by Smith. As Jackson tries to get some distance between himself and Smith he is nailed with a shot to the back and then is picked up and rammed into the cell back first by Smith. Shane crashes to the mats and is holding his back as Smith stomps away at the injury. As Smith picks Shane up by the hair Shane fires a shot into Smith�s gut and then grabs his tights and pulls him into the cell face first. Now it�s Shane�s turn to go on the offensive as he rubs Smith�s face into the steel causing a small bit of blood to flow from Smith�s forehead. Shane sees this and starts to bite Smith�s forehead causing even more blood to come out. As Shane ceases the biting he looks into the camera and smiles with Smith�s blood staining his face and teeth. Both men are back into the ring and Shane is stomping the hell out of Smith in the corner and then starts to choke him with his foot.

Shane keeps control of the match with a sleeper hold as he is trying to wear down Smith. Shane has Smith out and heads up top and then drives a fist into Smith�s forehead. The ref is down for the count: 1..2..Kickout by Smith who is losing blood fast. Shane now has Smith up and down in a brainbuster like move and then drives his elbow into Smith�s head yet again and then a knee drop. Shane picks up Smith and whips him into the ropes and tries for a back body drop but Smith leaps over Shane�s back and hits a spinning back powerbomb. Both men are down and hurt as the crowd is still somewhat silent. Smith is starting to stir first and grabs Shane and hits a picture perfect swinging neckbreaker and goes for the pin. 1..2..Shane gets his shoulder up before the 3. Smith looks pissed and then heads up top but is caught by Jackson who climbs up to meet Smith. Shane has Smith and takes him over in a top rope belly to belly suplex leaving both men down again. This time it�s Shane who is up first and it�s him who hits a tilt a whirl slam and then locks in an STF on Smith who is now revived. Smith is in pain as Shane is really wrenching down on the hold and won�t break the hold despite Smith being in the ropes. Shane finally releases the hold and whips Smith into the ropes and side steps him and causes Smith to go over the top rope and crash into the cell. Shane slides out of the ring and starts to pull off the steel stairs. He lets them fall as the pain in his back is still there. Smith is now a bloody mess but is headed over to Shane who has finally got the steel stairs up but doesn�t see Smith who superkicks the stairs into Shane who falls back to the mat causing the stairs to fall on Shane�s head. Smith now wipes the blood from his face and then reaches under the ring and pulls out another steel chair. Now Smith stands over Shane and puts Shane on the ring stairs face down and then lifts the chair and brings it down. This move causes Shane�s head to get sandwiched between the stairs and the steel chair. Smith is back in control and is headed up to the top again. Travis leaps off as Shane is standing up and connects with a double axe handle to Shane�s neck and back area. This move causes Shane to fall into the cage and actually opens the cage up. Smith sees this and drags Shane out of the cage and rams him into the ringside barricades. As Smith goes to clothesline Shane over, Jackson ducks and this causes Smith to tumble over the barricade and into the crowd. Shane falls down to the floor and waits as Smith is slowly climbing over the barricade. Shane springs and takes Smith out with a clothesline that sends Smith down and Shane�s head falling just inches from the announce table. Jackson is up first and has Smith by the hair and pulls him onto the table. Shane gets Smith into a piledriver position but then changes his mind and throws Smith�s arm over his shoulder and Rock Bottoms him through the table. This move sends wooden pieces flying everywhere and both men down once again.

Jackson is up first and has Smith by the legs. Shane falls back causing Smith to hit the cell face first and reopen his cut. Shane is now headed back inside the cage and has Smith with him. Both men are physically exhausted and it can be seen. Shane picks Smith up and drives him face first into the cell and then tries it again but Smith slides down his back and pushes Shane into the steel. Smith now is in control and grabs the Singapore cane and waits for Jackson to stand. As Shane stands he is cracked in the head by the cane and then just hits the mats with a thud. Smith now grabs the fallen Jackson and tosses him back into the ring and rolls in himself. Smith sees Shane starting to stir and dropkicks Shane in the face. Smith now has Shane and hits a beautiful piledriver and then goes for the cover. 1..2..Shane barely gets his shoulder up. Smith is mad but doesn�t let it get to him and so he hits the ropes and tries for a spinning heel kick but Shane catches Smith and hits a back suplex that leaves most men down.

Both men are getting up at the same time and they turn and see each other and both go for a right hand and are down again. This time it�s Shane standing first and he sees Smith standing but is bent over. This allows Shane to hit a Fame-Asser, and then a hangman�s neckbreaker and goes for the cover. 1..2..3..NO! Smith gets his shoulder up and Shane tries again. 1..2..Smith again gets his shoulder up. Shane is now looking frustrated and is now headed up top. The crowd is now on their feet in anticipation as Shane signals for the High Ride. Smith stands and is brought back down by the HIGH RIDE! Shane is slow to get the cover. 1..2..3..NO! Smith again gets his shoulder up. Shane gets off of Smith and slaps the mat in frustration. Shane now heads back up top and looks for the High Ride again but Smith sidesteps Shane and lets him crash into the mat. Smith now looks to the crowd who lets out a chorus of boos, as Smith picks up Shane and hoists him up into a Tombstone piledriver position and drives Shane�s head into the mat. Smith now goes for the cover and the ref is out of position. 1..2..Kickout by Shane. Smith now hits the mat in frustration and grabs the ropes and stomps away at Shane�s head yet again. Travis now looks out to the crowd and signals that the end is near. Smith picks Shane up and hoists him up onto his shoulder and then extends his arms and holds Shane in reverse Razor�s Edge position. Smith falls forward and drives Shane into the mat with the Canadian Sunset. Smith also is slow to get the cover. 1..2..3..NO!! Shane gets his shoulder up, and Smith can�t believe and holds up 3 fingers to the ref who shakes his head no. Smith snaps and gives the ref a Stunner and then turns his attention back to Jackson who gives Smith a mule kick to the groin and both men fall to the mat.

Shane gets up first and drags Smith over to the corner and then heads up top. Jackson stops on the second rope and then starts to bounce up and down before springing out and hitting Smith with a Vader Bomb. Shane tries it again but Smith nails Shane in the back and then gives him a reverse DDT from the second rope to the mat. Now it�s Smith�s turn for some high flying as he sets Jackson up in the corner and ascends to the top with his back to Jackson. The fans are still on their feet as Smith leaps off with a moonsault that takes all the air out of Shane and himself. Smith holds his ribs and goes for the cover. 1..2..Shane lifts his shoulder and escapes the win. Smith now grabs Jackson and puts him on the top corner pad and ascends up as well. Smith puts Jackson�s head in piledriver position and then hooks his arms in Pedigree position and lifts Shane up and brings him down to the mat with a top rope Tiger Driver. Smith rolls over and again goes for the cover. 1..2..3..Shane gets his shoulder up again before the three count. Smith again looks at the ref in disbelief and goes after Shane again but Shane picks Smith up and hits a seated spinebuster that shakes the ring. The ref checks in on both men and then waits as he can�t do anything about this. Shane is the first one to his feet and he has Smith and hits an Emerald Fusion that drives Smith�s head into the mat. Shane now heads back up and is looking for the High Ride again but instead goes for a big splash but Smith moves out of the way and Shane crashes into the mat and is holding is back again. Smith now moves back in for the kill and grabs the Singapore Cane and starts to repeatedly hit Shane with it in the back and eventually causes the cane to splinter. Travis tosses the cane aside and picks Shane up and goes for a whip into the corner but Shane reverses and Smith hits the turnbuckle and flips upside down and over the top rope and hits the floor and falls just inches from the steel stairs. Shane now slides out to the opposite side of the ring and reaches under the ring and brings out a ladder and slides it into the ring and then goes over to where Smith is and reaches down to grab him, but Smith hangs Jackson up on the ropes and then slingshots himself off the ropes and takes out Shane with a clothesline. Smith sees the ladder and decides to set it up. The ladder is near one of the corners and Smith now goes over to where Shane is still down and is hit with a stiff knife edge chop. Shane is fighting back with chops and has Smith backed up and charges in. Smith ducks a clothesline and locks in the Last Breath on Shane, as both men fall to the mat and Smith applies the body scissors. Shane is fading fast and the fans know it and are trying to get him revived but Shane is out. Smith releases the hold and looks down at Shane and then to the crowd and flips both of them off. Smith grabs Shane and hits a textbook neckbreaker and then a Rock Bottom, and then goes for the cover. 1..2..Kickout by Shane but not with a lot of authority. Smith is now headed up to the top of the ladder and Shane is soon climbing up the other side. They meet at the top of the ladder and are trading punches, rights and lefts and both men are hanging on to the ladder by one hand. Shane somehow grabs Travis and connects with a huge spinning piledriver!!!

Moe: My god, I thought that move was outlawed in wrestling!!!

Curly: I have never seen anything like that in my five years as a broadcast journalist!

Shane is unable to make the pinfall immediately, but Travis He lifts Travis up onto the top rope in the corner and superplexes him. Both men take a hard hit after that one, but Shane manages to cover Travis. All he can get is another two count. All these counts are so close. The crowd has been going nuts the whole match, and with Shane in control it's only getting louder. They trade punches and Shane puts Travis in a sleeperhold. Travis makes it to the ropes, then low-blows Shane as he releases the hold. He goes for the Sharpshooter and this time he gets it on him for real. Shane struggles to find a way out and eventually reaches back and grabs one of Travis's feet, takes him down, then pulls himself up and right into a Sharpshooter of his own. Travis makes it to the ropes and Shane is forced to let go. Shane tries to send Travis to the buckle, but Travis reverses and charges. Shane gets his feet up and Travis eats boot. Travis remains stunned in the corner, with his back to the turnbuckles, as Shane hops up and goes to the top rope.

The crowd pops, at first, we think at the match, but then we see a figure trying to get thru the crowd. Shane is distracted by this and the figure is revealed to be Former 4-Time CWF World Champion, Diablo!!! The referee is distracted by Smith and Diablo is able to hit at Shane thru the cage!!! Shane still has the momentum and he climbs onto Travis's shoulders and tries to take him over with a victory roll, but in mid-roll Travis stops the momentum, slams him down and traps him in a pinning combination, pinning Shane's shoulders to the mat for a clear three count!!!

Moe: We have a NEW CWO World Champion!!!

Curly: I knew Travis could do it!! He's beaten 'The Natural Wonder' at his own game...Fair and Square!!!
