Subject: Travis Smith(c) vs Heinrich Himmler-CWO World Title match(CWO Uncut 8-9-02)

�Back in Black� by AC/DC hits and Heinrich Himmler steps out to a massive pop from the crowd, Himmler makes his way to the ring and slides in and then just rests up against the corner pad. The sounds of �Back in Black� change into �Live Again� by Sevendust and out steps Travis Smith to a lot of heat from the crowd. Smith is taking his time getting to the ring and then climbs the stairs and gets in the ring never taking his eyes off of Himmler. Smith hands the CWO World title to head ref Miles Beard who shows it to Himmler and then raises it up. Smith and Himmler come to the center of the ring and the bell sounds and the two are just staring at each other. Neither man talking or making the first move.

JYD: Kinda tense ain�t it?

Larry: Quite, and both men know what the other is capable of. They have met before but never on this grand a stage.

Both men step back and then lock up. It�s Himmler with a go behind and then lifts Smith in the air and down to the mat, but Smith does a nice sit out and both men are back up and re-adjusting their attire. Smith now clamps on a side headlock but Himmler whips him into the ropes and takes him down with an arm drag. Smith gets up and swings his arm around and then the two men lock up again. Himmler goes behind again and takes Smith down with a double leg takedown and looks for an STF but Smith is able to get out of the ring. Travis looks frustrated as he walks around the ring and finally as the ref reaches nine he rolls in. Himmler has a big smile on his face as he knows that he has Smith right where he wants him. They lock up again but Smith catches Himmler with a knee to the gut and then a knee lift. Smith has control and waits as Himmler stands up and then takes him down with a clothesline. HH is up again and ducks a clothesline but misses one of his own and Smith hits a swinging neckbreaker. Smith goes for the cover; 1..Kickout by Himmler who is up and then back down courtesy of a Smith slam. Travis heads up top but Himmler catches him and climbs up after him, and then superplexes him to the mat and rolls into the pin. 1..Kickout by Smith and both men are up again and fall into opposite corners and are smiling at each other. They both come to the center of the ring and lock up again and this time it�s Smith with the go behind. Himmler counters and is now behind Smith but Travis uses his own leverage and the ropes to shoot Himmler out to the arena floor. Smith climbs to the top rope and catches Himmler with a double axe handle.

JYD: Man Smith is really on his game tonight and shades of Randy Savage there.

Larry: He seems to have it all together.

Smith has Himmler and tries to whip him into the steel stairs but Himmler reverses and Smith goes flying into the stairs knees first. As Smith begins to stand up, Himmler uses the stairs as a springboard and catches Smith with a clothesline. Himmler is up first and rolls into the ring and then back out to break the count which had reached nine. Himmler grabs Smith and tosses him back into the ring and then heads up top himself. Himmler leaps off and connects with a stomp to Smith�s knee and then puts the knee on the bottom rope and jumps down on it. Smith is holding his knee and is trying to cover up but Himmler grabs it and drops an elbow and then another and then goes for the Figure Four leglock. Himmler is in position but Smith kicks him in the face and then heads to the corner. Himmler charges in but Smith catches him with an elbow and then rocks him with a clothesline. Smith now is back in control of Himmler with a front facelock.

Larry: Both men with strategies tonight, Himmler looking for the legs and Smith looking for the neck.

JYD: And Smith hasn�t got an itch to kick!

Himmler has now reached a vertical base and brings Smith up and into a Northern Lights suplex. 1..2..Kickout by Smith. Himmler is up and looks to be in better shape than Smith, he catches Travis with a kick to the gut and then an Emerald Fusion slam. Himmler now looks to the crowd and heads up top again but Smith is up and crotches Himmler on the top rope and climbs up after him. Smith has Himmler and gives him a belly to belly superplex that leaves both men down. Smith is up and is limping a bit but grabs Himmler by the hair and sets him up for a piledriver. Himmler tries fighting out of it but Smith is persistent and nails him with a textbook piledriver and then goes for the cover. 1..2..Kickout by Himmler, who then charges in towards Smith but is caught with a wicked and awkward looking spinebuster. Smith now looks out to the crowd and then clamps on a sleeper hold. Himmler is trying to fight out of it and is standing again, but Smith now applies a body scissors and takes Himmler down. The ref goes to check on Himmler and raises his arm once and it falls, twice and it falls, three times but Himmler keeps his hand up and is able to roll into the ropes. Smith now stomps away at Himmler and then sets him up again for a piledriver but instead goes for a powerbomb. Himmler counters and brings Smith down with a DDT and both men are down again. 1..2..3..4..5..6..Smith is pulling himself up with the ropes 7..8...Both men are up and Himmler dropkicks Smith in the knee and now looks to the crowd for approval as he applies the Triple H in the dead center of the ring.

JYD: It�s over, it�s all over and alls Smith needs to do is tap. Tap Travis don�t end your career over a title.

Larry: Dog, I can�t believe it but he�s going for the ropes and the pain is evident on his face.

Smith is crawling inch by inch to the ropes but just as he is about to grab them, Himmler pulls him back to the center of the ring and sits down again. Smith is in pain and then reaches back and grabs Himmler�s leg and trips him up and now Smith has Himmler in the Sharpshooter but Himmler is able to quickly get to the ropes. Smith is really limping now and Himmler kicks him in the knee and goes for the Triple H again but Smith snares him in a small package. 1..2..Kickout by Himmler who once again dropkicks Smith in the knee. Himmler now grabs Smith and has him set up for the Bombs Away, but stalls and this allows Smith to catch Himmler with a reverse Stunner. Himmler is still up first and whips Smith into the ropes but Smith reverses and rolls through on Himmler and into the Last Breath.

Larry: And now Smith has his finisher locked in.

JYD: It�s his version of the STF and the pain is seen on Himmler�s face.

Himmler is close to tapping but here comes Hilda who distracts the referee just as Himmler starts to tap. Smith releases the hold thinking he�s won the match and then sees Hilda on the apron. As he turns back towards Himmler, he is surprised with a low blow by Himmler. Heinrich now sneaks around and brings Smith over in a German suplex. The ref is down for the count; 1..

JYD: Hey ref! Himmler�s shoulders are down too!

2..

Larry: He doesn�t see that, he�s counting Smith out.

3!!

Himmler releases the hold and the ref gives him the belt. Himmler and Hilda are celebrating but then another ref is seen and is telling Miles to look at the instant replay. The replay shows that both men�s shoulders were down. Miles Beard now grabs the belt from Himmler and gives it to Smith, who is just now getting to his feet.

Larry: What is going on here?

JYD: I think we are getting ready to find out.

Ring announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has determined that both men had their shoulders down and therefore no clear count can be made. The ref has ruled this match a DRAW!
