Date Posted: 13:54:00 09/23/04 Thu In reply to: Mael 's message, "Re: Meh?" on 10:10:16 09/23/04 Thu Brett just started playing swg lol. But anyway I hate that game. I get on and am bored like crazy and grind. It's funner playing action games. Yeah I really am losing a little interest also. I don't have anything in my life to fill the emptiness I have right now though, so I continue to play. No girlfriend. No one to hang out with. I actually get excited about going to school tues and thirs. No job. And my favorite class is math cause my math teacher is funny. I also started working out for a while but I'm too lazy to keep going. Besides I havnt gained any weight in 3 years. As far as school goes though it scares me that I have absolutely no interest in this computer science anymore, I hate programming, and I have nothing else to do. I wish I could be more like my brother, he moved out at 17 and now he ownes his own place, and has sheila who he will probably marry. He also has a job he enjoys and makes good money. And he rubs it in my face, lol. Ever wish you could just give up? I do, every single day for the past year. I just keep wondering, what happened to me? Why do I feel this way? Maybe I need to see a psychologist. Reminds me of something my math teacher was talking to the class about. He was saying in college everyone fits into groups. He talked about the athletes, nerds etc. Then he talked about the loners. The people who have nobody left but themselves. Everything he described felt like it related to me, but then it stunned me when he said "Yeah, they are the one's who don't usually live past their 20's. They end up commiting suicide because they couldn't find a place to belong." There's an action rpg coming out called monster hunter. Actually it's already out. It's made by capcom (makers of devil may cry and resident evil). It's less rpg and more action. 4 players work together online (or less players) to bring down massive sized creatures, mainly dinosaurs and dragons. Looks very cool, very fast paced, and capcom generates the item codes server side so theres no item hacking. There isnt alot of rpg leveling up, although equipment is highly customizable from the hides and bones collected. Also everybody gets to harvest so there is no loot or kill stealing. It looks pretty tite. It sounds like your pretty much done though, so if u don't even wanna check it out i understand, though I think it would be alot of fun for us to play co-op against massive creatures. They also say they will add content quests for online players occationally. Oh and fable was good, but it didn't live up to the hype, and wasnt worth 49.99. Anyway sorry if that's all fragmented, I typed it in a hurry as I'm about to leave and go back to school. I was skipping around while typing too. Anyway see ya later. >I hav'nt had time to come on lately, working at target >and the Y, and going to school. Actually, not playing >video games for so long made me lose my interest. So, >I'm cancelling my swg and wwiiol subscriptions. I >don't see the point of playing anymore. Ever goal I >meet from a game gives me absolutely nothing in >return. And playing games to beat them isn't fun for >me anymore. Every game they come out with is just like >one before only with a different color. Playing a coop >game is always fun but aside from rpg's there aren't >any out. The interenet is too immature and im tired of >dealing with 9 year olds who have sailors mouths. > > So, the immature interenet, pointless goals of >beating games, and repetitive nature in video games >has made me lose interest. I will still come on once >in awhile but not to play games. I would rather expand >my mind or go to the gym. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
