I've thought about time travel alot also. I'm sure everyone would go back and change something that happened in their past. I know I would. A few things even, lol. Whenever I thought about time travel I always imagined it as changing the one world, not creating alternate dimensions, that would just be off the funkometer.

Wouldn't it be cool though, if God gave us the chance to live one more time, starting at whatever point in our lives we chose. Do some things differently. A second chance. I would at least like to see what would have happened, and feel what it was like to change some decisions. But I already made them, the past is the past, and I'll never know. Ahhhh daydreaming.

I guess the thing about fate, or an unchangable path set in stone, is security. People would like to feel like no matter what they do it was meant to be that way. That's why some people blame God for what has happened to them in their lives. Not realizing, or rather accepting, that their life is shaped by their own, and in some cases others, decisions. Free will. Good stuff.
