Yeah but they discovered that as matter travels faster speeds the density of the the object increases. I plane actually gains density when its in mid flight, its just so slight that it doesn't cause any problems and is barely noticeable. An object traveling at the speed of light would have an infinite density, making travelling at light speed impossible, man could only hope to travel near it. I read up on some quantum physics and Einsteins theories.
