Yes, I can see your point about being sick of swords and magic rpg's and enjoying SWG just for the change, but I believe the differences in WoW will make up for its similarites. A great game engine is guarenteed, its whats sold all of Blizzards other games. The graphics and cartoonish look are original and IMO are a nice change. For me, the most important thing has been the look of the game. I think the look, and the music, give the whole feel of the game. I think them alone can make a game great. Ok, maybe not alone, im sure everyone would agree with me that nothing could have helped Pool of Radiance. But they would have helped alot,I definatly would have played it longer had the music and visuals been better. If asked, i would say the most boring thing about WWIIOL and SWG, and from what I've seen from everquest, is that no matter where I am I feel like im in the same place. No matter what im fighting, I feel like ive done the exact same thing i just did. And that bores me. Knowing that WoW will have a great engine, will have good music, and has the most diverse terrain and characters, including monsters, I have ever seen in a game is enough for me to buy it and try that free month.
