Actually, the whole no recognization thny was explain in the epi after Sailor Venus first arrived- when she came up to the other senshi for the first time in civilian form, noone of them recognized her or even her voice, despite the fact that she looked the same, the reason being that the magick in their transformation averts the mind from putting together sound and appearance. It doens't, however, cover smell, so if one were wearign perfume in civilian form, then transformed, one might notice they were both wearing the same perfume...but thats not saying much ^^;
