"I'm glad you like the pie, sensei," Keiko said, trying to conceal her enormous relief that Dr. Morpheus liked her cooking; "it actually was my mother who taught me how to cook. She used to say it would help me find a husband--although I haven't actually found a husband yet..."

Keiko laughed weakly.

"But I would love to join you after work tomorrow," Keiko said, smiling brightly once again. "Now I just have to think of a way to get back home..."

Of course, lacking a coat or any shoes, Keiko wasn't really relishing a walk home in the snow; but on the other hand, she wasn't sure if she really wanted to ask the nice doctor if she could borrow his coat and shoes (which would doubtless be vastly too large, and which she would be prone to damage in the snow). Conversely, Keiko could teleport home if she transformed into Sailor Quantum--since she had active control of her powers in that form--but she could hardly risk letting anyone know her secret identity. Not even the kindly Dr. Morpheus.

There was another possibility, though; if Keiko transformed into Sailor Quantum in Dr. Morpheus' bathroom, then teleported home from there, Dr. Morpheus would never have to see that she was actually a Sailor Senshi.

"Although, actually," Keiko said, finally, "I think I will be able to teleport home now. I feel a lot of positive energy now, and that's usually enough to let me use my power. If you don't mind, then, I'll just go into your bathroom, close the door and teleport from there; I know it's silly, but I do feel awkward if I teleport when someone is watching me..."

Keiko stood up, intent on heading for the bathroom, but she paused as one last thought occurred to her. Looking at the floor bashfully, it took her a moment to summon the courage to look Dr. Morpheus in the eye.

"Before I go, Morpheus-sensei, may I ask you a question? I hope this doesn't sound awfully forward...but may I ask what your first name is? I know I barely know you, but I feel as if you are my friend, and it sounds awfully formal to call you 'Dr. Morpheus' all the time.

"Naturally, you can call me 'Keiko' if you'd like--unless you think it's inappropriate for us to address each other in such a manner..."
