I was there in the early nineties and I do remember the "Only true church attitude" I dont think JA would deny that it was there and real.

As for how members took the change of heart - I think you must know that whatever came from Noel was considered pretty much gospel. Obviously some members didnt drop the idea for some time and you would probably find the odd member who still holds that opinion. However, I do remember people being publically rebuked for expressing the only church thing several times over the years
