That is very definitely true

I did hear someone in the JA in the last few years say that it was recognised only recently that this was a mistake, that Noel had never been covered.

Only now that Noel is handing over to Mick Temperate and co (mostly Mick) is Noel getting covered, though to what extent one can only speculate.
