When I first went to the Jesus Army my pastor of the pentecostal church in Holland was very concerned, because he saw many people from his church go to the Jesus Army. He had a lot of discernment, and is a good pastor. He said that the Jesus Army was governed by a spirit of hypnotisme and not by the Holy Spirit. He strongly adviced not to have anything to do with them. But: the elders like Dave Lansberry and Noel told us that it was only out of jealousy this pastor said these kind of things. I was stupid enough in that time to believe them, but not anymore!
Many years later I was in a pentecostal church back in Holland. I was still in telepathic contact with a few elders, I believe. One of these leading sisters of that church in Holland told me she was 100% sure that I was governed by a spirit of hypnotism. She was so sure because she was converted out of a satans church, where this spirit was around also. She recognised the same spirit in me. At that time I was not convinced yet, that came a few years later, when I went back to the Jesus Army. Everything got uncovered then for me, and I broke with them and these things completely. Thank you Jesus! But: they (= these powers, because the Bible says we are not struggling against flesh and blood, but against evil spirits) will not let go of me, they keep on pestering me. But I stand on the overcoming live of Jesus and believe I have His hope in my heart that can be taken away by no one. I can say my faith is become stronger because of all these things, so "poor devils", you are going to loose and you have lost the game already! Thank you Jesus!
