If they are in community then no christmas no no no ! In some households they also take the children out of school at the end of term so they miss the parties and performances.
oh god it is so depressing I can't go on.....

daisy will come on here soon and tell us all how brave and clever they are for renouncing the material wickednss of it all...yawn

For you 7 year old it would be like any other day. they may find it hard at school at the moment as all the other kids will be getting excited about christmas.
