As for "curing" rapists and paedophiles, I have no doubt at all that such people can repent and be saved, if they truly humbly beg God for forgiveness.

The trouble is, the JA think THEY can "cure" these people. In their fatheaded, arrogant, ridiculous pride, they think THEY have "the magic touch" - and in so doing, they make mischief and other people have to suffer the consequences.

The JA were not keen on allowing the Holy Spirit to dwell amongst them when I was around, in the 80's - ugh, what a toadclammy atmosphere of SS style nitpicking and nastiness there was then, I remember it all too well, I was crying a lot of the time, with them mocking and laughing, apparently it was some sort of JA joke to see weakest sisters and brothers bawling their eyes out, POM and all that, I felt like an idiot, like a piece of trash most of the time.

Well here is the news - JESUS doesn't act like that - He might be poweful beyond our imagination but Jesus is also infinitly kind, and loving, never ever a bully, for a bruised reed he never breaks. So why the JA think they are doing the will of God when they treat other people, weak people, like junk beats me!
