Subject: Watching my kids ride Author: Katie [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:20:31 10/17/02 Thu I walked down to the barn and I saw Kim plating and knotting up Diablo's mane. I walked past the next stall and I saw Clara doing the same thing to Tonto’s. I started laughing, because they were twins doing the same thing to their twin horses, and I asked them what they were doing. They both jumped at the same time. “Urm ........... well...........” Clara stammered. “I think we should tell her Kim” “Oh ok, mum we have been working on a little show. It is not that much but today we were going to show you” Kim said. So i went and waited in the jumping ring for them. They mounted and walked Tonto and Diablo around the outside to warm them up. They had put their best jackets on and there best riding clothes. They looked great. They told me to sit down and close my eyes. I sat down and when I opened my eyes again they had set up jumps that both of the horses would fit over at the same time, it was called double jumping. I watched them as they went over all the 3" to 4" jumps at the same time and the same speed. I was really pleased with them and I told them that it was great. I said that next week I wanted to see them in the cross country field becuase I had not seen them ride in there.
