[ Briar's mouth curved into a thin-liped smile-he hadn't been here more than a few days ago. he stopped three paces from the waters edge, studying it's pearly blue depths inexpertly before shrugging his shoulders. sweat marked trails through the layer of dirt on his face and body, and after finding a trunk to lay his things against, he stripped down to shorts, leaving his clothes in a pile underneath the tree. two necklaces stood out against his chest-a carved, black, stone horse on a leather band, and a gold ring on a silver chain. in a few long strides he reached the banks, and did a quick swan dive in, dissapearing under the surface for a few minutes and sending miniture waves scurrying along. the coolness of the falls felt good against his skin.
