.x. slows his breathing, muffling it to a whisper, and closing his eyes. he lets all the thoughts from the day loose, wiping them a way, and inhaling deeply yet softly, letting the waterfalls roar fade away. a calm spreads over him as other senses become alert, and a sixth sense that exists in all beings starts to life. he stands still, listening, not twitching a muscle. just quiet. he sudden movement seemes to blind him beneath his eyelids, and his optics flutter open. swiftly, he closes them, regaining composure. it would be better, at least for a bit, to fight without sight; blindness even with eyes open could be disturbing. a siren went off inside, and making his move, he performed multiple handsprings, landing to her left, gracefully but not completely silent. before he'd even completely regained balance, he lept, back flipping overhead, to land with deadly silence on her right. he crouched. .x.

[occ-ok, lol...since sometimes i type a lot and sometimes other people do, i like to say what my character was doing while they were making their move-i.e. maybe she kicked at briar after he'd was taking off, or vice-versa-as well as a response. not saying you hafta; that's ju8st what i do.]
