How does it feel being back home? When I left Osaka in November all I could think about was just getting back home. I had some problems with the airlines. No planes would fly unless enough people boarded the plane. The first flight got canceled but I could fly out the next day. I didn't want to be stuck for days at Kansai International Airport without a job. Now that its been about 11 months being back home I think about what life would be like if I had stayed in Japan. I've been thinking about all the things I didn't get a chance to do. Like going to Okinawa and visiting Edo castle in Tokyo or going to Hokkaido. Anyway, do you find it difficult getting used to America again? Do you feel a need to re-visit Japan to see all the things that you could'nt?

It's different here in the States, that's for sure. It took me a few weeks to readjust to the open spaces and blunt behaviour one often sees in America. After living in Japan for a year, I think the country has left an imprint on me. Another words, part of me is Japanese. That feeling has been made even more intense after marrying Ayumi and getting to know her family. I definitely will return to Japan someday. I imagine anyone who's lived there would probably feel the same way. So, yeah, I understand your desire to go back.
