Restrained
By bonded chains
Unto a life of little change
One day upon the next unchanged
Just slightly rearranged
The toil, the tears, the stress of life
The joy seems buried �neath the strife
Reality cuts like a knife
And you yourself, you blame
Don�t if, don�t but, don�t question why
Look up, look up unto the sky
Believe, believe that you can fly
And carefully take aim
And feel the wind as on you glide
Let self belief be your guide
Care not if you should fall, take pride
And you can say, at least I tried.
