"Mmmm." The beast watched her dance away a short distance and effortlessly increased his pace as well. "I hope that shall be soon." He murmured, ingoring her sudden playful mood. Females. Always changing their minds and moods. Go figure. He stayed at her side, silent for the time being yet looking around nervously as he noticed he was in the light. Old habits die hard. He slowed up, moved to his sister's other side which was cast in shadow, then caught up with her again. He had spoke to her before of the very darkness he was feeling now. No use fighting. Timbers exteneded and hammers beat the solid ground fewer times. So he could change his mind too. "Always was the slow one." He muttered without feeling as he bolted away from her, masterly hiding his playful quirk.
